Akritas is the principal investigator of the PopCon project.

 

He is Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

 

He graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in Public Law and Political Science.

 

He has a PhD from the same School, while he has also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Hannover.

 

In the past he has been Visiting Researcher at the Law Schools of the Universities of Glasgow and Hannover.
